ABOUT US
Since 1939, the Principia Public Affairs Conference has been a proving ground for student leadership and civic engagement. As the oldest continuously operating student-led conference in the United States, PAC has hosted Supreme Court justices, Nobel laureates, presidential advisors, and groundbreaking activists – all organized entirely by undergraduate students.
Student Leadership, Professional Impact
Every aspect – from speaker selection to event logistics – is managed by Principia students. You'll experience the energy of peer-led discourse combined with the rigor of academic inquiry.
Intimate, Meaningful Dialogue
Unlike massive conferences, PAC creates space for real conversation. Attendees engage directly with speakers, can ask tough questions, and connect with others who care deeply about public affairs.
A Legacy of Influence
PAC alumni have gone on to careers in Congress, the State Department, international NGOs, and social enterprises. Past speakers credit PAC audiences with some of their most thoughtful exchanges.
This Year's Focus
Immigration isn't just a policy debate – it's millions of individual stories of courage, sacrifice, and hope. Through five powerful sessions, we'll explore immigration through multiple perspectives: border enforcement, family separation, identity, activism, and belonging.
